Basic Adult & Pediatric CPR / AED / First-Aid course is typically required for CCSD employees, caregivers, electricians, construction, dental, foster care, athletic trainers, casino workers, security guards, and many other professions.
Course material covered; Infant CPR, child CPR, adult CPR, AED training for adults and children, bloodborne review, shock, heart attack, stroke, seizures, diabetic emergencies, control of bleeding, fractures and sprains, head injuries, burns, infant choke saving, child choke saving, adult choke saving, asthma and breathing difficulties, severe allergic reactions, poisoning, heat related illness, cold exposure emergencies, bites and stings.

All programs are taught according to the 2020 ECC Guidelines for CPR and AED. 2020 National guidelines for First Aid Training in an occupational setting. All instructors are certified by AHA, Medic First Aid or EMS Safety Services.
